Company Description
ALVAR, Inc. is a privately owned company, founded in 1979 . Recent upgrades at the Washburn site include automation of the carbon dispersion and color dispersion for Aqueous systems, and specialty coatings. The addition of the ALVAR Resins, located in the Crossett Arkansas in 2013 brought the integration of Natural(Rosin) Resins and Alkyd chemistry in to the lineup. Early 2018 the addition of a new site in Palmer Texas, has given ALVAR more production and capacity in the specialty colors and carbon dispersions.
