Given the importance of the Mexican market, BOBST and its industry partners held a Roadshow in Guadalajara earlier this year which provided the opportunity for discussing with representatives of the local flexible packaging and label manufacturing industries brand new products and technologies relating to both equipment and consumables in light of the specifics of the Mexican market requirements.
Organized together with partners Atlas Converting Equipment, Daetwyler Graphics, DuPont Performance Materials, Esko, Henkel, Kodak, Label Pack, Publiworld, Schmid Rhyner and Siegwerk as well as Sun Digital, the sales representative in Mexico for BOBST narrow and mid-web inline flexo presses, the event saw the participation of 140 attendees from 48 converting and packaging companies from all parts of the country.
Amongst the new products presented by BOBST is the new platform of compact laminators – the multi-technology CL 750D and the solventless SL 750D - which brings BOBST advanced laminating technology to the middle segment of the market. Also providing a best-in-class solution for the increasingly growing market trend towards thinner substrates and product serialization is the BOBST MW 85F CI flexo press. It has drawn the interest of major label printing companies that see it especially suited for their product diversification strategy.
