BCM Inks, a manufacturer of eco-friendly water flexo inks and varnishes for the corrugated POP and graphic packaging industry, announced the appointment of Robert Callif as president/COO. David Callif, president for the past 27 years, will become CEO/chairman.
Rob Callif has been with BCM Inks for almost 15 years. He has spent time in various roles of increasing responsibility in production, marketing, and technical sales. Most recently, he was VP.
He is an active member of the AICC’s Emerging Leaders and played a major role in the development of BCM Inks’ DuPont Gold Award-winning product, PCR Black.
Rob Callif is a graduate of the University of Florida with a finance degree. He is married with two young daughters.
“I look forward to working with and meeting the needs of existing and new customers. I’m going to continue the commitment to the development of customized ink products and processes and ensuring an exceptional level of customer service that my father started,” he said.
In another management change, Dr. Ted Vernardakis, director of R&D and quality assurance, announced his retirement. Dr. Richard Taushanoff Jr. will assume the R&D and quality assurance manager’s role effective Jan. 25, 2016.
