hubergroup has announced that Michael Geiger was promoted to CFO of the hubergroup. Mr. Geiger is succeeding Andreas Leidert, who resigned after 21 years with the hubergroup due to health reasons.
“With his background in finance and his experience leading our region in North and South America for several years,” said Thomas Hensel, CEO of the hubergroup, “Michael is the perfect fit for this important position."
Mr. Geiger joined the hubergroup in 2004 and lived in the U.S. from 2008 to 2011.
Martin Weber will succeed Mr. Geiger as president Regional Unit North and South America. Mr. Weber started his career with the hubergroup in Munich in 1989. He has held several managing positions within the group, and lived in Hong Kong during the last seven years, developing new markets and new strategies in the Asia/Pacific region. Mr. Weber will relocate from Hong-Kong to the U.S.
“Martin will add great experience, especially in sales and marketing, to our markets in America” said Mr. Hensel.
Heiner Klokkers will assume responsibility as president for the Europe region. Mr. Klokkers started his career in the ink industry at BASF Printing Systems in Germany, UK and in the U.S. He joined the hubergroup in 2004 as managing director of Michael Huber Muenchen GmbH.
“With the international experience and his know-how, Heiner will successfully enhance our growth in this important market,” said Mr. Hensel.
