MicroMedia Mill
Buhler’s Line of new MicroMedia mills, ranging from 70 ml to 30.2 liter have been successfully introduced to North America. The mill can be used reliable with micro beads between 20-400 µm and with an extreme wide range of operating parameters, from soft dispersion to high-energy milling. Five mill sizes are available from formulation to mass production with a reliable scale-up.

HBLT Mill
Schold Machine Corporation’s High Viscosity, High Body, Low Temperature (HBLT) Media Mill is the first domestic vertical disk type mill to grind high viscosity, poor flowing bases of all colors. Its patent pending design promotes aggressive grinding, while doing it at the lowest temperatures ever attained by their previous mills. This design technique is even capable of grinding UV bases with the photoinitiator in situ.

Model 550 Dual Shaft – Hot Melt Mixer
Hot melt printing ink mixers must address the unique temperature-dependent needs of this sensitive process. Myers has designed a dual shaft mixer with special vessel heat wraps and monitoring controls. The mixer is driven with a frequency inverter and equipped with a consolidated operator control station. An electric heating system aids in maintaining temperatures between 140°F to 200°F.
