Chicago Boiler aka CB Mills announced that Ion Despoiu has been promoted to the marketing director/new business development. For the past year, Mr. Despoiu has been devoting some of his spare time to developing marketing strategies while successfully operating as IT manager. In addition to his bachelor’s in computer science from University of Wisconsin Parkside, he has an MBA from the same university. Mr. Despoiu designed and produced the company’s new trade show exhibit, and designed various advertising campaigns that have created brand awareness reaching new and broader markets for CB Mills.
“Ion is a self-starter, whose creativity has no boundaries, using outside-the-box approaches to find and discover new customers,” said Denny Stidham, vice president of CB Mills, who added that the timing is perfect in the light of CB Mills’ new direction to expand its market share.
Because of his strong working knowledge of the web, including available web site technology and trends, web graphics and production issues, Mr. Despoiu expects to develop key internet marketing activities.
“I know I will succeed in increasing CB Mills’s sales,” Mr. Despoiu said. “I am designing a marketing strategy that will enhance and sustain our competitive advantage. There is an imminent growth potential for CB Mills and I will exploit it.”
