Nazdar, supplier of screen printing and digital inks, equipment and supplies to North America, announced several appointments and the reassignment of responsibilities for existing members of the international sales and marketing group as the company focuses on becoming a worldwide supplier of screen printing inks and equipment.
Claudio Perez-Korinko has been named international business development manager. Mr. Perez-Korinko comes to Nazdar with an extensive background in international business and assumes responsibility for the opening and development of new international markets for Nazdar. He will develop and implement sales and marketing initiatives in all markets worldwide.
James Elliot has been promoted to the position of international sales manager – Asian division. He will focus on supporting Nazdar’s business development initiatives for the Asian region with emphasis on the Chinese market, where he will devote significant time supporting Nazdar’s international customers. Mr. Elliott will also be working closely with Nazdar’s product development and R&D departments to ensure that Nazdar products are fulfilling the needs of the Chinese screen printing and digital imaging markets. In addition, he will work directly with Mr. Perez-Korinko on marketing support programs.
Sam Espinoza has been named international sales manager – Latin America. Mr. Espinoza will provide sales, technical support and market development of Nazdar-manufactured screen printing and digital inks in Mexico.
Carlos Tecuanhuey is the new senior account executive—Mexico. Mr. Tecuanhuey is responsible for directing the Nazdar sales force in Mexico as well as expanding market initiatives and opportunities. He has more than 13 years of experience in the graphic screen printing industry in Mexico, most recently as international technical manager for Polymeric.
Melody Rauch has been promoted to global customer service manager. Ms. Rauch’s primary responsibility is to provide leadership and administrative oversight of Nazdar’s international and domestic customer service departments. Ms. Rauch joined Nazdar in 1997 as international customer service supervisor and has played an integral role in Nazdar’s growth in the international marketplace.
Nazdar also announced several key appointments in the U.S. region. Tom Keegan has been named director of market and product development. His responsibilities will include the development and coordination of marketing research projects to determine the direction of Nazdar’s research and development initiatives for inks and other manufactured products. He has been with the company for more than 13 years.
The company also has promoted Jay Tharp to marketing manager at its corporate headquarters in Shawnee, KS. In this role, Mr. Tharp will be responsible for aiding Mr. Keegan in the development and coordination of market research projects.
Nazdar has also named Tim Taylor digital account executive for the Midwest region. Mr. Taylor will provide sales support for the complete line of digital imaging products for the company’s Chicago and mid-America branches. He will also provide NDI digital ink support for key independent distributors in the region.
