Dave Leskusky was appointed president of PRINTING United Alliance, the organization announced.
Leskusky has overseen operations at NAPCO Media, which merged with the Alliance in 2019.
In this move, Leskusky will retain his role in leading NAPCO Media as part of the PRINTING United Alliance portfolio and will additionally support Alliance efforts to further streamline resources and services being offered from the Alliance, including industry education, training, workshops, events, research, government and legislative representation, safety, and environmental sustainability guidance.
Ford Bowers, PRINTING United Alliance CEO, will continue working closely with the board of directors. He remains the main liaison to members, exhibitors, and the press, and will represent the association on the Hill as well as announce new developments and share major changes that are being implemented.
“We are pleased to appoint Dave as president of PRINTING United Alliance during this exciting time for the association and the industry,” said Bowers. “With the wonderful partnerships we’ve made recently, including recently welcoming Idealliance to the Alliance family, we recognized that a full-time focus was needed to serve in an overarching role. As the whole is greater than the sum of its parts, Dave will oversee operations and best practices to integrate and enhance the most valuable resources through our combined partnerships to plan for the long-term success in serving the industry.”
“I’m extremely excited to help lead PRINTING United Alliance in this new role,” said Leskusky. “I will continue to give back to our industry and work with our longstanding partners to provide even more resources and services to our members, printers, and suppliers. We are building a bigger tent that enables us to focus on key issues facing all printers and provide a stronger unified voice that has never existed in a previously fragmented landscape.
“We’ve spent the past few years building a comprehensive platform designed to educate, inspire and inform printers of all shapes, sizes and segments. We still have a lot of work to do but our goal is to utilize this platform to enhance the experience of our members, bring more members into the family and work collaboratively with printers and suppliers to respond to their needs and ensure the long-term success of the industry at large," he added.
