NUtec Digital Ink recently launched its latest UV-curable ink range named Ruby and which is optimized for LED UV lamp curing.
The new Ruby range launches with premium quality, fast curing roll-to-roll UV inks designed for a wide range of flexible applications including self-adhesive media.
The inks perform well in a demanding, high-speed printing environment with enhanced scuff and chemical resistance.
Ruby's superior color gamut delivers bright, vivid images with good gloss levels. The UV-curable inks are free from N-vinyl caprolactam (NVC), feature improved stretchability, produce low odor, and comply with the latest regulatory standards.
“There are many advantages to choosing UV LED over conventional curing which include, among others, wider substrate choices as UV LED offers a cooler cure, lower energy consumption and reduced heat output.
