TLMI has announced that the association’s interactive virtual Annual Meeting will take place Nov. 11-12, 2020. The meeting’s theme, “V2V: Beyond Uncertainty,” evokes the event’s virtual-to-virtual format with a speaker and presenter lineup that will focus on and address the most pressing issues currently facing TLMI’s converter and supplier members.
Presentation topics include the current economic landscape’s impact on the label converting industry, exclusive label and narrow web packaging industry market forecasts and trends, how the global pandemic will continue to affect printed packaging, and strategies for B2B sales in a virtual world.
“The Annual Meeting will be open to all employees working at member company sites,” TLMI president Linea Keen said. “While we will still have content that speaks directly to company owners and managing executives, we will also have presentations relevant to personnel across sales, finance, marketing and business development functions. And of course, we will still have plenty of live networking opportunities in addition to an interactive supplier virtual tabletop program. There has never been a more important time for the association’s members to come together to learn and connect with one another.”
For the first time, the Annual Meeting’s full program and content will be available to any and all employees at TLMI member companies. The event will take place at allotted time frames each day to ensure attendees have the ability to network and engage with other association members, learn from presenters and industry experts, and still have ample time to carry out their own work tasks and priorities.
In addition to interactive networking opportunities and professional presentations, there will be a special Virtual Awards Ceremony where the TLMI Label Award and Calvin Frost Environmental Leadership Award winners will be announced.
TLMI members will be receiving the official meeting invite and detailed program in the coming weeks.
