Bennett Graphics, a general print service provider in the US, recently added the new HP Indigo 100K Digital Press.
Selected as a worldwide HP Indigo 100K beta site customer, the Atlanta-area based Bennett is already benefitting from 30 to 45% higher productivity on the 29-inch/B2 format press, driving growth in its direct mail business.
The first press in HP Indigo Series 5, the HP Indigo 100K is designed to deliver highly productive, on-demand digital printing.
“Almost overnight, our digital print production capabilities have expanded, enabling us to deliver much higher quantities of last-minute orders for the midnight mail drops,” said David Bennett, owner. “It’s been amazing. This press is so advanced and runs like it’s already been in the market a few years.”
Bennett delivers a range of commercial printing, specializing in oversized direct mail cards, especially for luxury automobile dealers, non-profits, educational and casinos, in addition to label converting. Bennett says his company is now experiencing a recovery in printing levels across verticals.
“Growing demand for the HP Indigo 100K is a testament to the need for high-quality, versatility, and productive digital printing,” said Haim Levit, GM of HP Indigo. “We want Bennett and others to benefit from faster turnarounds and transition more work to digital, boosting sustainability with on-demand printing.”
Bennett also purchased the first commercially available HP Indigo 10000 Digital Press, now replaced by the new HP Indigo 100K. Bennett also runs an HP Indigo 12000 Digital Press, HP Indigo 6800 for its growing labels business, HP Indigo 7900, and HP Latex R2000 for hybrid rigid and flexible materials.
