Zeller+Gmelin (stand 11A47) will show a wide range of UV inks specially developed for the label and packaging market at Labelexpo Europe.
With the FLEXOSCREEN YSR-X55400 Zeller+Gmelin presents a new ready-to-use opaque white for both UV screen and UV flexo printing. The new opaque white is silicone-free and thus not only ideal for single color printing, but also for overprinting with inks of most printing technologies, hot foil stamping and thermals transfer printing.
The white is universally suitable for Stork, Screeny and Kocher+Beck meshes. The FLEXOSCREEN White has extraordinary rheological properties and an optimized ink laydown. The new white offers a good adhesion on a broad range of substrates with a high scratch resistant due to fast and complete curing.
Since 2010. the UVAFLEX Y71-Series is well established in the market of food, pharma and label packaging. Now Zeller+Gmelin is working on a new generation of low-migration UV flexo inks for printing on paper and synthetic substrates. The new UVAFLEX LM-Series is state-of-the-art in terms of both manufacturing technology and raw material selection, covering the most recent legislation and brand owner requirements. The new series comprises excellent press performance, enhanced color strength and low odor. The first customer trials are planned for September 2015.
Zeller+Gmelin has also developed a new range of LED-UV process inks for offset printing. This ink system is in particular suitable for printing on temperature-sensitive substrates.
Zeller+Gmelin also offers UVALUX varnishes/lacquers, a state-of-the-art product range of new primers and overprint lacquers for different applications.
