Sun Chemical is launching a new family of inks and coatings, SunNote, at Security Printers 2013, which runs through Dec. 6 at Messe Wien Exhibition & Congress Centerin Vienna, Austria.
At the event, which is dedicated to high-security printing including passports, ID cards and banknotes, Sun Chemical will demonstrate its expertise and commitment to the security printing industry with new and existing products.
The SunNote family covers almost all aspects of the banknote production process, protecting the logistical movement of banknotes within the cash cycle. At Security Printers 2013, Sun Chemical will showcase the range of inks including SunNote SHIFT, bespoke iridescent pigments and varnishes for banknote printing, and the new SunNote ARREST staining ink for IBNS, compatible with varnished banknotes.
"This is a relatively new market for Sun Chemical and we're looking forward to demonstrating our range of security inks and pigments dedicated to the banknote printing industry,” said Stefaan D'Hoore, business manager security printing, Sun Chemical. “This is the first time we've shown the SunNote family at an exhibition, and it presents a great opportunity for us to meet with new and existing customers, illustrating that Sun Chemical is a trusted partner."
