Huber Engineered Materials (HEM), part of J.M. Huber Corporation, announced a second release of its technical brochure discussing its kaolin clay for use in industrial applications (non-paper).
“We originally produced the brochure in October 2006 and the piece has been enormously popular among customers and potential customers and has been a key selling tool for our sales team,” said Tom Anderskow, director – sales and service, industrial specialties. “The brochure will include all the information as before and also feature new easy-to-understand tables on the specific uses of kaolin as a premium extender for rubber, plastics and wire and cable and a comprehensive overview of kaolin grades by particle size and shape.”
The brochure includes discussion on the importance of brightness, finishing forms and engineering (beneficiation) when selecting a water-washed, delaminated, treated or calcined clay. Notes are also included that profile industrial kaolin for use in paint, coatings, ink, adhesives, free-flow-type and crop protection applications.
Customers wanting formulation insight as well as a kaolin processing overview are encouraged to visit www.hubermaterials.com and request this revised brochure.
